Mountain bike frame shocks are of utmost importance in mountain biking. Mountain Bikes may utilize both front and rear shocks. The front shock is also called a fork and connects the head tube with the front wheel. This will provide absorption for any foreign obstacles rolled over by the front wheel of the bike. Of course, consequently, the rear shocks will provide absorption for the rear wheel of the bike.
There are two main types of Mountain Bike shocks. You will either have the air or coil shocks. The coil shocks use a steel or titanium coil spring that is used to absorb the impact and the air shocks will simply use air for the absorption.
